Invitation

Dear Colleague,

It's my pleasure to invite you to Fifteenth Annual International Conference “Biomedical Engineering”, which will traditionally be held at Kaunas University of Technology. Conference venue - Kaunas city (www.kaunas.lt) is a hearth of Lithuania, centre of technologies, second largest city of Lithuania. Kaunas has 10 high education institutions, hosts the largest technological university in Baltic countries, also the largest medical university hospital with more than 2000 beds. This creates a unique environment for the dialogue between technologies and medicine.

Conference topics cover scientific and clinical aspects of biomedical engineering. The mission of the Conference is to consolidate the efforts of engineers, physicians, and scientists working in hospitals, clinics, research and education institutions and companies from different countries for solving health care problems related with diagnostic, therapy, medical information, networking, computer aided decision support and clinical engineering technologies.

Companies working on medical equipment, medical informatics software, hardware, diagnostic and therapy instrumentation are welcome to present their products and services. Facilities to expose and present equipment and services are available including the live presentations and printing of advertising materials in the conference proceedings.

Young scientists (under 30), including doctoral and master students, authors of best presentations traditionally will be awarded by 3 special KTU BMEI awards.

Conference proceedings will be issued before the conference. Please find simple requirements in the conference leaflet and use electronic communication for convenient submission of your materials.

Practical details: there is no problem to order hotels, we ensure you that you will choose suitable hotel even upon arrival. The fee for participants from Baltic countries and Central and Eastern Europe can be reduced by request.
