Biomedical Engineering Institute
Investigations in the field of ultrasonic biomedical engineering at Kaunas university of technology (KUT) were started in 1975. In 1991 scientists researching in this topic formed a research group which served as the basis for the foundation of a scientific laboratory in the Faculty of Telecomunications and electronics in 1994 . Biomedical engineering laboratory - the base for students and doctors of philosophy studies with help of academic laboratory and Theoretical Radio Engineering Department was founded in 1995 . Biomedical engineering institute of KUT was founded in 1999 .
